Person-Centered
The resident is an active participant in treatment and recovery planning.
Our residential program provides a safe, structured and supportive environment where individuals can step away from everyday pressures and focus on healing.
Recovery moves from stability toward independence. Each stage of residential treatment at Aeterna Health builds on the one before it — and continues long after treatment ends.
A structured residential setting provides stability and space to focus on recovery.
Assessment helps identify substance use, behavioral-health needs, physical-health considerations, strengths, risks, support systems and recovery goals.
Individualized treatment and compassionate support help address patterns, triggers, behaviors and barriers to recovery.
Residents strengthen coping strategies, emotional regulation, communication, routines and independent-living skills.
We begin planning for continued treatment, recovery supports, healthcare, housing and community integration.
The path continues long after treatment toward connection, purpose and greater independence.
Recovery is not a straight line.
We walk alongside each resident as they build skills, navigate challenges and continue moving forward.
You don’t have to navigate recovery alone.
At Aeterna Health, treatment begins with a simple belief: every person deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.
Substance use disorder can affect health, relationships, employment, housing, finances, emotional well-being, and a person’s sense of identity. Effective recovery therefore requires more than addressing substance use alone.

Aeterna Health provides residential treatment for adults experiencing substance use disorders who meet the program's admission criteria and approved level of care.
Individuals may benefit from residential treatment when they require a structured therapeutic environment and more intensive support than can appropriately be provided through a less intensive setting.
The admissions team evaluates each referral individually to determine whether Aeterna Health can safely and appropriately meet the person's needs.
Recovery does not require having every answer today. It begins with taking the next step.
Aeterna Health is not where life stops because of addiction. It is where life begins again.
